Martha Gershun has over 40 years of leadership experience in Fortune 500 corporations, start-up ventures, and non-profit organizations. As Principal of MG Consulting, she assists local and national non-profits with strategic planning, marketing, executive coaching, leadership transition, fundraising, and board development.
Recent clients include Neighborhood Legal Support (NLS), The Farmer’s House, Hillel International, Shepherd’s Center Central, COVERSA, Northeast Community Center (Harmony Project), Tourism Cares, Madam President Camp, Life Unlimited, KC Digital Drive, Benilde Hall, Missouri Association for Area Agencies on Aging (ma4), and reStart.
In 2018 Gershun donated a kidney to a woman she read about in the newspaper. She co-authored a book, Kidney to Share (Cornell University Press, 2021), with Dr. John Lantos, physician and bioethicist, about that experience and became an advocate for living organ donors. She has been named Special Advisor to the Kidney Transplant Collaborative and serves as a Living Donation Guest Blogger for the Explore Transplant community at Houston Methodist Hospital.
